WWE Presents: NXT Live rolls through Shreveport tonight and here's why I decided to take my daughter.

Let me start this by saying I am an extremely casual wrestling fan. By "extremely casual" I mean I watched a lot when I was a kid, but don't ever watch any more. Having said that, I have been to every single WWE show in Shreveport-Bossier over the last few years, and these shows are unlike any other.

I went to my first one a few years ago at the CenturyLink Center. I had never watched wrestling live so I really didn't know what to expect. The next few hours absolutely blew me away. It's theatre, of course, and no one puts on a better show than the WWE. I'm telling you, even if you're the furthest thing away from a true wrestling fan, you will enjoy these shows.

For my first show, I was lucky enough to sit on the front row ringside, and the experience was truly unlike any other. I have been to countless shows and concerts, yet probably had the most fun sitting ringside at a WWE event. The superstars are extremely interactive with the fans who came to see them, and that absolutely provides a magical experience.

So tonight, I'm taking a pretty big risk. My oldest daughter has never seen wrestling, except for maybe a few times when my childhood favorite Sting made a brief comeback a few years ago. I watched his matches like I was a kid again, and my daughter watched along with me.

So tonight, I bought two ringside seats for my daughter and me, I'm hoping that it's an experience for her like it was for me years ago, and that she enjoys the show and feels the magic, because these shows are absolutely magical.

I will post an article after the event to show pictures of our night at NXT Live and share our experience!
