All those hours in the studio mean nothing if you're not being true to yourself.

We wouldn't advise you to hold your breath for the next Gwen Stefani album to arrive. According to Entertainment Weekly, Gwen Stefani has thrown out an entire album, which was supposed to be her third solo album, to get a fresh start.

"It didn’t feel right. I didn’t feel fulfilled."

The record was put together because she felt like she should do something in music, but she had also just given birth and had just started The Voice. Ultimately, there just wasn't time and making an album in which you're not really involved didn't work for her.

Plus, Gwen is not the same Gwen anymore.

She's now single after announcing her divorce from Gavin Rossdale in August. The two were married for 13 years.

Gwen started writing this album in June and already has more than an album worth of material. She describes the album as "really natural" with songs that are "living in the moment."

Although a release date for the album has not been announced, she did release her first single off of it, "Used to Love You."
