Interesting Views of the SBC from SPACE
We've all used Google Maps to find our way, but have you ever used Google Earth just to take a look around? Recently, Google Earth did some upgrading to their web-based satellite thingy, and it's pretty darn cool.
The geniuses over at Google have updated some of the imagery, as well as made the 3D option much more clear and realistic.
Check out some images that I pulled at random to highlight some of the cool views of our beautiful region.
Here's a look at Downtown Shreveport.
Here's a closer look at Riverview Park. It seems some of these images were from one of the recent floods as evidenced by the water in front of Riverview Stage.

We've all cooled down a time or two at Splash Kingdom (or Watertown for us older folks).
The Horseshoe Hotel shines just as brightly in these 3D images. Sci-Port is photo bombing like a boss.
The majesty of Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium is not lost on Google Earth.
And here we are, waving to space from the studios here!
