Isaac has been upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane…on the eve of the seven-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s south Louisiana landfall.  Governor Jindal has given residents updates on preparations being made right now.  They include the number of evacuees at various Red Cross shelters set up to house evacuees…and several of those are right here in Shreveport-Bossier.

He also says many governmental offices and businesses to our south have shut down until the storm moves through.  Here’s audio from Jindal’s latest news conference, courtesy of Louisiana Radio Network.  I’ve broken it up into five parts:
