It's Official the Best Fast Food Burger is Found in Shreveport

My Friend Derek Simmons Needs to Be Labeled as a Griff's Ambassador.

Maybe he is a little too die-hard when it comes to his love of this fast food spot however we are sitting on a gem here in Shreveport-Bossier.

There are Only Three Griff's Locations Left in Louisiana.

We are lucky enough that two of the locations are in Bossier City and in Shreveport. The other Griff's spot is in Ruston. According to Griff's website, the first Griff's eatery opened in 1960. "Our pledge to you is to continue the same “great tasting” burgers that created a memory for you on your first visit."

My friend Derek described the place as a nostalgic feeling and that’s exactly what it is. There’s no fancy computer no crazy system just a microphone in a PA system and tentative cooks in the back listening to your order being called out. What year are we in again?

The prices had me feeling nostalgic too. Please no one talk to the upper management at Griff's I am not used to paying 2001 prices in 2024. I am convinced this is the best fast-food burger being served in America.

I had no idea that my brother-in-law Eloy had a secret obsession with Griff's until today. Eloy and I normally check out new eateries together and we love to find the best dishes at random restaurants. Normally we focus on street tacos, but today it was all about the best cheeseburger in town. I copied his order and also got a number 1. We both sat there and agreed "This is the best fast food burger in America." The only disclaimer that Griff's needs is that you need to plan to take a nap after having some lunch there.
