The NFL Draft did have a viewership. Every year the event has expanded, and the draft has gone from a hotel conference room to the big stage at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. In 2010, the draft expanded to a three-day schedule, and in 2015 it moved from New York City.
According to Nielsen figures, the 2019 NFL Draft event broke all previous records for the highest-rated and most-watched draft history, drawing an average of 6.1 million viewers across NFL, ESPN, ABC TV, and digital channels, with a combined TV rating of 3.9 households.
