Dinosaur Food Challenge: Local Chefs Create Prehistoric Specialties
Shreveport never shies away from a fun food theme! While 318 Restaurant Week may be in the rearview mirror, we have a brand-new reason to grab a fork. In honor of the Smithsonian’s “Sea Monsters Unearthed” exhibit at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, local chefs are getting prehistoric.
Get ready to channel your inner omnivore, carnivore, or herbivore! For one week only, our favorite locally owned spots are serving up specialty menu items inspired by the ancient predators that once ruled the oceans.
The "Dino-Mite" Menu Highlights:
Dripp Donuts: Brontosaurus-shaped donuts (A massive hit with kids and adults!)
El Cabo Verde: Infladita Azul Fosilizado & Mosasaur Tacos
Bella Fresca: Bayou Steak-osaurus Rex (Wagyu beef)
Giuseppe’s Pasta Café: Prehistoric Primordial Pasta
Ki Mexico: Brontosaurus Rib Taco
Mae & Co.: Stegosaurus Cauli-Bites & Steak-osaurus Sandwich
Zuzul Coastal Cuisine: Cretaceous Crustaceans
Don't Let These Dishes Go Extinct!
These specialty items are only available from Monday, March 30, through Saturday, April 4. Make sure to support our local restaurants before these flavors become a thing of the past!

This is the first time in 25 years we’ve hosted a Smithsonian exhibit, and we are only the second location in the U.S. to feature these ancient predators.
