Who is Playing at Mudbug Madness? See the Full 2026 Lineup

If you know me, you know that my calendar is basically built around festival season in Shreveport. And let’s be honest: nothing kicks off a Louisiana summer quite like the smell of spicy crawfish and the sound of a washboard ringing through Downtown.

Mudbug Madness is officially back for its 42nd year from May 22–24, and the entertainment lineup this year is absolutely stacked.

I know how it goes, you get down there, grab your first flat of mudbugs, and suddenly you’re overwhelmed by the music coming from every direction. To make sure you don't miss a beat (or a bite), I’ve put together your official roadmap for the weekend.

The Delta Utilities Madness Stage:

This is where you’ll find that classic festival energy and the big headliners.

Friday: Kick things off with the Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest at 11:30 AM (always a must-watch!) before Stoney LaRue closes out the night at 8:00 PM.

Saturday: It’s all about the zydeco vibes with Dwayne Dopsie at 5:30 PM, followed by a massive set from Casey Donahew.

Sunday: Don’t miss the Crawfish Calling Contest to see some real local talent, and definitely stick around for The Chee Weez at 8:00 PM for the ultimate party finale.

The FOX 33 Swamp Stage

If you’re looking for a mix of rock, blues, and variety, this is your spot.

Friday: Flow Tribe is bringing that New Orleans funk at 8:00 PM to get the weekend started right.

Saturday: Ally Venable at 3:30 PM, she is a powerhouse on the guitar.

Sunday: We’re ending the festival with a bang! The Ultimate Selena Experience takes the stage at 8:00 PM, and you already know the whole crowd will be singing along.
