In Texas people are now seeing the days are shorter, the temperature has dropped compared to a month ago. It won’t be long until the holidays are here. For most people that will be a time filled with loved ones trying to make memories. But for porch pirates it’s what they have been waiting for, a chance to take items from you after you already paid for them.

We all know that thieves are the worst. Not willing to work for items, instead they would rather take the items that you purchased. It’s insane to me that people would be willing to jeopardize their freedom often for packages and they have no idea what is inside. It’s something that will never make sense to me, but that doesn’t matter, we need to make sure we do what we can to deter porch pirates from targeting your home.

Porch Pirates Are Always on the Prowl

I’ve seen porch pirate videos online of these thieves taking packages off doorsteps at night or even in the middle of the day. This type of crime happens at all hours of the day, which is why you need to keep an eye out if you’re expecting any packages to be delivered.
