Watch: Tempers Flare at Texas Costco

Here’s a reminder that it’s never a good idea to go to a big box store the day before a holiday. 

I’m all about having a warehouse club membership. If you can afford to go that route, you’ll save a lot of money in the long run by buying in bulk. 

But I’ve found it’s best to be strategic about when you shop there, if possible (the same rule applies to any big box store, not just membership clubs). Otherwise, you may find yourself dealing with someone like the guy in the video below.

Don’t get me wrong – I'm not here to pass judgment on the guy, because I don’t know what caused him to lose his temper and push his way through the other shoppers. However, it is a bad look no matter the circumstances. 

Anyway, I decided to share the clip to serve as a Public Service Announcement (PSA). Because if you can do it, go shopping early in the morning during the week. It’s almost always guaranteed to be a much more pleasant experience. 

And whatever you do, do not wait until the last minute, the day before a major shopping holiday like Thanksgiving or Christmas.
