It’s a done deal. The lease between the City of Shreveport and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson has been signed. 50 Cent and Mayor Tom Arceneaux spent a few minutes on a Facetime call today to talk about the deal.

Jackson is in Germany on his Legacy Tour, but he took a moment to speak with the Mayor about his plan.

Mayor Arceneaux told Jackson we now have a signed lease for the Stageworks Building on the Clyde Fant Parkway and he added:

We are in business my friend. This is a great day to celebrate. I appreciate your persistence and your working with us to get this deal done.

Jackson told the Mayor when he wraps up the Legacy Tour he will be back in Shreveport and he’s going to stay in Shreveport.

Shreveport Is Now Officially in Business with 50 Cent

Mayor Arceneaux also told Jackson “we are very thrilled to be in business with you and we look forward to everything you’re going to be doing in Shreveport and how we can help you do it well. Jackson told the Mayor he’s very excited to get it going.

This lease was approved at the March 25 Council meeting when 50 Cent made a surprise appearance.
