Folks under age 30 are often turning to AI to help them take care of projects at work. The latest report says about 33% of Americans are considered “heavy users” of AI.

What Jobs Are Safe From AI?

That depends on who you talk to. Researchers are working on finding ways to integrate AI in all kinds of settings. Obviously it’s a way of saving money and improving the bottom line.

Recently, a listener from Louisiana asked Kim Komando “what jobs are safe from AI and don’t need a college degree”?

Komando told this listener many jobs we originally thought were safe are now being lost to this new technology. The Digital Goddess says a report from Goldman Sachs estimates that AI could impact up to 300 million jobs globally.

She also cites the World Economic Forum which says 25% of all jobs could be drastically changed by AI over the next 2 years.

What Kinds of Jobs Need Humans?

This part of the report is interesting. Komando says jobs that rely on “human traits like empathy, dexterity, real-world problem-solving, and getting your hands dirty are thriving.” And she says many of these jobs don’t require a college degree.
