The American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier (AAFSB) is looking to spread some holiday cheer, have some fun, and get some donations this December. They've partnered up with the Shreveport-Bossier Cornhole Association for a mini-cornament in Bossier City to benefit Operation Santa Claus.

According to their social media, the event will be Wednesday, December 14th at 7pm. It will be held at Red River Brewpub at the Garage in Bossier City, and sponsored by Certus Direct.

The event is part of AAFSB's Ads After Dark series, and is an "after hours social event". All you have to do to enter the cornament is bring a new, unwrapped toy, to donate to Operation Santa Claus. The event is being listed as open to AAFSB members and non-members. So if you aren't a member, but still want to play, make plans to head out...but don't forget your toy to donate to Operation Santa Claus.

If you're not familiar with Operation Santa Claus, its a non-profit program with Townsquare Media, the Shreveport Police Department, and Shreveport Fire Department. The Shreveport City Government explains it here:

"Operation Santa Claus is a multi-agency, non-profit organization made up of law enforcement volunteers who sign up needy children to receive toys for Christmas. Operation Santa Claus is an officer-referred program. Once officers submit the names of deserving children, volunteers find the toys the children request, wrap them, and give them to the officers to deliver to those children in time for Christmas."

So have some fun, make a donation to a great cause, and enjoy a little cornhole this month!
