SHREVEPORT, LA-  SPD Seeks Assistance in Identifying Burglary Suspect

The Shreveport Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a burglary at M&M Fireworks, located at 4727 Line Avenue.

On January 2, 2025, at approximately 11:57 a.m., officers responded to a burglary call at the location. Surveillance footage shows a dark-colored vehicle entering the parking lot where the fireworks stand was located. Shortly after, an unknown individual dressed in all black approached the side of the stand and attempted to gain access using a drill and saw.

The suspect cut a square-shaped hole in the rear of the stand and entered through the opening. Once inside, the suspect began loading boxes of fireworks into their vehicle before fleeing the scene.

SPD Property Crimes Detectives are releasing surveillance video of the offense in hopes that someone can help identify the suspect.
