50 Cent’s Festival Officially Moved; Here’s What You Need to Know

Yesterday it was reported that 50 Cent's Humor & Harmony Festival was going to be changing venues. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson reportedly was in Shreveport this week reviewing plans, participating in a fund raising event and just checking in on some of the things he's attempting to pull off in Shreveport.

As part of those meetings, it was reported that 50's Humor & Harmony Festival, which was scheduled to take place at Independence Stadium in August, would be moving indoors. It was reported that the event was experiencing extremely low ticket sales, which were blamed on the extreme August heat.

Humor & Harmony Has Issued an Official Statement

While yesterday's report was based on insiders who were apart of the meetings with 50 Cent and his people. Today, the Humor & Harmony people have issued a statement in conjunction with Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. The statement says that the Festival will be moving to Municipal Auditorium due to extreme heat and safety of attendees. You can read the full statement below:

Due to forecasted extreme temperatures, and prioritizing the safety of our patrons, we are moving the Humor & Harmony festival indoors. The event is moving from Independence Stadium to the historic Shreveport Municipal Auditorium! All previously purchased tickets will be emailed instructions from Ticketmaster about receiving your new ticket. Get ready for an incredible weekend of Humor and Harmony in this iconic venue!

 

What Do I Need to Do if I Bought Humor & Harmony Tickets?

As mentioned in the official statement, if you've already purchased Humor & Harmony Tickets, Ticketmaster will be reaching out to you. So, keep an eye on your inbox and SPAM folder for any emails pertaining to Humor & Harmony.

Typically, those that already purchased tickets will get tickets at the new venue of equal value or you will receive a full refund. Since the change was just officially announced, there will probably be more details coming soon.

How to Buy Humor & Harmony Tickets

If the heat was one of the big factors keeping you away from 50 Cent's Humor & Harmony Festival, this change of venue is probably great news for you. Not only will Municipal Auditorium be closer to the downtown area where other parts of 50 Cent's big weekend will be taking place (the car show, basketball tournament, etc.) but Municipal Auditorium has air conditioning.
