Shooting in Minden Leaves Person Injured

Minden Police are currently investigating a shooting call that has left a male injured.

This call came into dispatch just after midnight on Saturday (5/20/23) morning from Cherry Street and Carolina Street, which is located in the town of Minden. When first responders arrived on the scene, they received information that a male was suffering from a gunshot wounds to his body.

Officers were told that the victim left the scene in a private owned vehicle, which he was headed to Ochsner Health Hospital in Shreveport.
