Shreveport Police Arrest Two for Automatic Weapon Possession

The Shreveport Police continues its ongoing effort to remove illegal firearms from the hands of individuals prohibited from possessing them.

Shreveport Police Department, officers conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of two people in possession of automatic weapons.

During the operation, SPD arrested Makilen Kelly and Zantravious Brooks on firearm-related offenses. Both individuals were transported to the Shreveport City Jail for processing.

Further investigation revealed that Brooks was also wanted in connection with other criminal activity.

Both Kelly and Brooks have been charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Machine Gun.
