Shreveport Woman Arrested for Aggravated Assault With a Firearm

On August 24, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a report of an armed individual in the 4000 block of Golf Links Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers quickly assessed the situation and gathered all necessary facts and circumstances.

As a result of their investigation, officers arrested 33-year-old AlonQuinette Smith. She has been charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm and one count of simple battery. Fortunately, no one was injured during this incident.

The firearm involved has been seized, and the Shreveport Police Department remains committed to removing those who commit acts of violence from our streets and ensuring the safety of our community.
