Shreveport Police Arrest Men for Domestic Violence With Weapons

The Shreveport Police Department is continuing it's efforts to put those who are suspected of Domestic Violence behind bars.

Earlier this week, SPD arrested Michael Mucullum was arrested following a domestic incident. Mucullum was arrested and charged with one count of stalking and one count of aggravated assault upon a dating partner.

Also earlier this week, John Johnson was arrested after a call to SPD about domestic violence. Johnson was arrested and charged with domestic abuse battery with a weapon.

Domestic violence is a growing problem in Shreveport and SPD has been working hard to put and keep those who commit the crime in jail.

"Both of these incidents involved the use of weapons, highlighting the seriousness and danger domestic violence poses to victims and families. The Shreveport Police Department is committed to addressing these crimes with urgency and ensuring that offenders are held accountable.
