Shreveport Man Wanted for Failing to Register as Sex Offender

The Shreveport Police Department is on the hunt for a man wanted failing to register as a sex offender.

Shreveport Police Department detectives are searching for Stanjuan Jones, who has failed to complete his required annual sex offender registration as mandated by Registration of Sex Offenders and Child Predators.

Jones was convicted of Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and is classified as a Tier 1 Sex Offender, requiring registration until 2030. He also has a prior conviction for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Jones for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

Shreveport Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to Jones' arrest.
