It's a mystery to the public as to why two Shreveport Firefighters were put behind bars. SFD Released the following statement.

On Tuesday, (10/29/24) two Shreveport Fire Department employees were arrested by Louisiana State Police (LSP). The Shreveport Fire Department is fully cooperating with LSP in this ongoing investigation.

Fire Chief Clarence Reese Jr, commented on the matter,

“This situation is deeply concerning and does not reflect the values and dedication of our department. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. Our firefighters are not above the law and I will work with Louisiana State Police to ensure that we are in full cooperation with their ongoing investigation."
