Shreveport Man Wanted in Connection With Kitt Place Shooting

The Shreveport Police Department is actively searching for a man they believe was involved in a shooting.

Last week, Shreveport Police Department Patrol Officers responded to reports of gunfire on Kitt Place. Detectives were notified of the shooting and launched an investigation. Based on the evidence, SPD Detectives were able to get an arrest warrant for Ardis Chism in connection with the shooting for one count of Attempted Second-Degree Murder.

Chism has a criminal history that includes two prior convictions for offenses involving firearms as well as several drug-related convictions. He is considered armed and dangerous.

If you see Chism or know of his whereabouts, DO NOT APPROACH. Shreveport Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to his arrest.
