Shreveport Man Arrested Following Armed Robbery

Shreveport Police have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery that happened on Turner Lane.

Patrol Officers responded to reports that three people had robbed a victim at gunpoint. SPD Officers began gathering information and turned the case over to the Shreveport Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit.

Last week, Violent Crimes detectives arrested Damarian Cawthorn in connection with the robbery. He has been charged with:

· Two counts of Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm

· One count of Armed Robbery

This arrest is the result of coordinated efforts between patrol officers and Violent Crimes investigators, who worked hard to identify and arrest Cawthorn.
