Shreveport Man Charged with 2nd Degree Rape
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police arrest suspected rapist
On April 22, at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a call regarding a sexual assault in the 700 block of Long Bayou Drive. Upon arrival, officers were informed of a recent sexual assault involving a perpetrator known to the victim. The assailant forcefully entered a residence and initiated a sexual assault against the sleeping victim.
Thanks to the swift and diligent response of patrol officers and efforts of the Shreveport Police Crimes Unit, 20 year-old Catraveon Small, was apprehended and charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of attempted second-degree rape.
The victim received immediate medical attention at a local hospital.
