
Shreveport Man Faces Molestation Charges Involving 12 Year Old
Shreveport, LA- Arrest of William Lewis on Two Counts of Molestation of a Juvenile
Shreveport Police Department (SPD) Sex Crimes Detectives received a molestation case from the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office (BPSO)involving a 12-year-old victim.
Detectives determined after an investigation that the suspect, William Lewis, had sexually assaulted the victim within SPD jurisdiction. At the time of this report, Lewis also faces the same charges from the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office, who had already filed similar charges against Lewis for offenses committed in their jurisdiction.
With both departments working together, investigators from the Shreveport Police Department and the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office pursued the case. Because of their joint efforts, William Lewis has been arrested and charged with two counts of Molestation of a Juvenile. Lewis will face trial for these charges in both Bossier Parish and Caddo Parish courts.

The Shreveport Police Department released a statement saying that they "deeply value our strong partnership with neighboring agencies like the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office. These collaborations are critical in ensuring justice for victims and protecting our communities."
