Shreveport Police, along with the help of U.S. Marshals have apprehended a man wanted for a September Murder case.
Investigators identified Corddarrylin White as a suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with one count of Second-Degree Murder and two counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
Last month, Shreveport Police responded to a shooting at the Shell gas station in the 4000 block of Jewella Avenue.
When SPD got to the scene, they found one victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. A second gunshot victim was also found. Both victims were taken to Ochsner LSU Health for treatment. One victim died from his injuries.
Detectives continued their investigation and developed evidence identifying White as a suspect in the shooting.
Yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals Service found White and took him into custody on his outstanding arrest warrants.
White was taken to the Shreveport Police Department’s Detective Office, where he was interviewed by investigators. Following the interview, he was taken to the Shreveport City Jail for booking.
From SPD:
"We thank our federal partners with the U.S. Marshals Service for their continued assistance in bringing wanted violent crime suspects into custody.
