Shreveport Man Arrested for Pointing a Gun at Two People

On Friday afternoon, Shreveport Police were called to the scene of an assault and battery on Wyandotte Street.

When Police showed up on the scene, they found the complainant standing outside with one of the victims. Both people told Officers that a man, later identified as Marcus Knowles, showed up and pointed a gun at them.

Officers started an investigation, and were able to find Knowles. Knowles began telling Officers misleading information, but thankfully several witnesses came forward and the story was straightened out. A gun was found in the car that Knowles was driving during the investigation.

"As a result of the investigation, Marcus Knowles has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
