The Arrest of Brandon Strickland
On the morning of February 5, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., VCAT officers intercepted Brandon Strickland. Following a brief interaction, Strickland was taken into custody and charged with one count of Possession of Schedule II Narcotics.
The Arrest of Tamela Morgan and Ronnie Blunt
The proactive surge began a day earlier on February 4, 2024. Members of the Street Level Interdiction Unit apprehended Tamela Morgan and Ronnie Blunt during a targeted operation. Both individuals are now facing multiple charges linked to a wider, ongoing narcotics investigation within the Shreveport area.
The Arrest of Troy Johnson
The most significant enforcement action occurred early on February 5, just after 7:00 a.m. Interdiction officers stopped Troy Johnson, who was found to be in possession of a substantial quantity of illegal narcotics. Furthermore, officers recovered a firearm during the encounter. Johnson has been hit with a litany of charges involving both narcotics trafficking and firearms violations.
