Shreveport Woman Pleads Guilty to Attempted Murder in Caddo Court
A Shreveport woman involved in a robbery that turned in to an attempted murder has pleaded guilty in Caddo Court.
20 year-old Jeshaiah Ashanti Rambo admitted in Caddo Court her part in the crime that happened back in October of 2023 on Alma Street. The Judge sentenced her to serve 10 years in prison.
Rambo admitted to luring the victim to Alma Street with the promise of engaging in a sexual relationship. When the victim showed up to the location, he was met by Deonte Horton who attempted to rob him, before taking his gun out and firing a shot, hitting the victim in front of Rambo.
It was discovered that Rambo had been in a relationship with both Horton and the victim prior to the robbery attempt.
Codefendant Horton also pleaded guilty to this crime back in August and was given a 15 year sentence.
"Rambo was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Fernando Grider Jr. She was defended by Dave Knadler."
