Shreveport Police Arrest Two for Alleged Sex Crimes With Juvenile Victims

The Shreveport Police Department’s Sex Crimes Unit has arrested two individuals following an investigation involving two juvenile victims.

35 year-old Brandon M. Martin, and 33 year-old Ashleigh Chatelain were taken into custody on September 1st, following an investigation that began on Alvin Lane.

Detectives learned that a 12 year-old victim reported being sexually assaulted by Martin. Investigators also learned that a 14 year-old victim was allegedly provided alcoholic beverages and tobacco vaping products by Chatelain.

Both juveniles participated in forensic interviews, during which investigators obtained additional information related to the allegations.

Based on evidence, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Martin. The warrant was signed by a Judge with no bond set.

Martin was arrested on the following charges:

· Two counts of Sexual Battery of a Child Under the Age of 13

· Two counts of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile

· Two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile

Chatelain was arrested on two counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile.

Both suspects were taken to Shreveport City Jail for booking.
