Shreveport Man Arrested Following Shooting and Home Invasion

Earlier this month, Shreveport Police officers responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Jenkins Avenue.

Detectives found that Byran Clark was involved in an incident following an argument. During the investigation, detectives determined Clark forced his way into a home and struck the victim multiple times. During the course of the home invasion, a second male that was in the home was shot.

The individual who was shot is expected to recover.

At this time, Byran Clark has been charged with one count of Home Invasion.

Detectives are continuing to investigate to determine if additional charges are appropriate.
