Shreveport Police Seeking Man Wanted for Unauthorized Entry

Shreveport Police are searching for a suspect accused of unlawfully entering a business on Stoner Avenue.

Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department Property Crimes Unit began investigating the incident after receiving a report of an unauthorized entry that happened late last year.

During the investigation, detectives checked surveillance footage and saw a male suspect entering the building without permission.

The property owner later recognized the man, and detectives were able to positively identify the suspect as Jamarquez Jones.

An arrest warrant has now been issued for Jones for one count of Unauthorized Entry of a Business. Jones was previously convicted of Unauthorized Entry in 2024.
