Shreveport Man Arrested for Taking Up-Skirt Pictures

In early August, Shreveport Police were called to a business on West 84th Street to reports of an alleged invasion of privacy.

Detectives with SPD's Sex Crimes Division reviewed the store's security camera footage which showed a man later identified as John Swayzer, putting his phone under a woman's skirt and taking a picture. Detectives noted that they could see the flash of the camera when the picture was taken.

Swayzer was arrested and charged with one count of Video Voyeurism. Video Voyeurism is considered a sex crime, and if convicted of this crime the person may have to register as a sex offender.
