Shreveport Man Wanted for Alleged Domestic Violence

Shreveport Police domestic violence investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for a man following a domestic incident on Wallace Street.

Investigators learned Gregory Jenkins, 39, allegedly struck his former girlfriend in the face during an argument, causing a significant injury to her mouth and nearly causing her to lose consciousness.

Two witnesses reportedly observed the assault. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Domestic Violence is a growing and serious issue in Shreveport. Shreveport Police have been working hard to combat this issue by holding those responsible accountable for their actions.

"Jenkins is wanted for one count of Domestic Abuse Battery and one count of Domestic Abuse Battery, Second Offense. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Shreveport Police Department."
