Suspect Arrested in Shreveport Attempted Murder

The Shreveport Police Department responded to a shooting incident on November 9, 2023, in the 1500 block of Acorn Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was promptly transported to a local area hospital by the Shreveport Fire Department for urgent medical attention to address life-threatening injuries.

The Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit immediately took charge of the investigation, meticulously examining the crime scene and gathering crucial evidence. Their diligent efforts culminated in the swift identification and subsequent arrest of the suspect, Tyrone Haley, on one count of attempted second-degree murder.

The victim is currently receiving medical treatment and still is considered in serious condition.

Tyrone Haley (11-20-74) is currently in custody, and the judicial process will now unfold as the case progresses through the legal system.
