Two Arrested In Connection With Shreveport Shooting

On October 9th, 2023, at 3:23 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1700 block of 1700 Alma Street. Responding officers located a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and began their investigation into the incident.

After a thorough investigation detectives were led to the arrest of two individuals. On October 13th, 2023, Jeshaiah Rambo (1-27-05) and Deontae Horton (5-26-03) were arrested and each was charged with one count of Attempted First Degree Murder.

The victim in this case is stable and is expected to recover.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
