Two Shreveport Afternoon Shootings Leave Two Injured
Shreveport Police are currently investigating 2 shootings that has left two people injured. Shreveport Police Department has multiple units working both calls and SFD has units on scene also.
The first call came into dispatch around 3:36 p.m. from Alma Street, which is located near the corner of Bernstein Avenue. When first responders arrived on the scene, they located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. The victim has been transported to Ochsner Health Hospital to be treated for serious and possible life-threatening injuries.
The second call came into dispatch around 5:36 p.m. from Terry Street, which is located near the corner of David Raines Road. When first responders arrived on the scene, they located a victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. The victim has been transported to Ochsner Health Hospital to be treated for serious and non life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation for both shootings and no other details are available at this time. We will update when more information becomes available.
