Huge First Full 2024-25 Weekend of Mudbugs Hockey in Shreveport

Hockey season officially returned to Shreveport last Saturday night. The Shreveport Mudbugs kicked off their home schedule on Saturday, and it has been great to have hockey action back at George's Pond inside The Hirsch. But last weekend featured just one Mudbugs game...this weekend we get two. Friday and Saturday night, for a full weekend of hockey in Shreveport.

This weekend will be the Mudbugs' Spirit Weekend, featuring cheer and dance performances all weekend.

On Friday night, you will get a chance to enjoy performances from the cheer and dance teams during intermissions, as well as contests, new merch in the Swamp Shack, and even an ETBU game after the Mudbugs wrap up.

The on Saturday, the performances from the cheer and dance teams during intermissions continue. There will be more contests, new merch in the Swamp Shack, and after the game you can skate with the players. In order to skate after the game, you will have to buy a wristband during the game.

You can bring the whole family out for incredible fun with the game, giveaways, and jerseys. Plus there will be skating with the players after the game on Saturday night, which is always fun for the kids. Even if they don't know how to skate, there are "skate trainers" that kids can hold onto while skating around.
