You might have heard this little piece of trivia before; there's only one billionaire who currently resides in the state of Louisiana. Now, there are some sources that list more than one, but it seems like there are discrepancies with how much someone is worth, or where their actual home is located.

Because there are a number of billionaires who are from Louisiana, but don't currently live in Louisiana.

How Many Billionaires Are In Louisiana

According to the World Population Review, there's only one billionaire who lives in Louisiana. That billionaire is Gail Benson. She is the owner of the NFL's New Orleans Saints and the NBA's New Orleans Pelicans. She took over the franchises when her husband, Tom Benson, passed away in 2018.

Who Else Could Be A Louisiana Billionaire?

There are a few other names that could be included on this list, at least three. Those three are Todd Graves (Raising Cane's), William Goldring (Sazerac), and Gary Chouest (Edison Chouest Offshore).

Again, there are numerous sources that say different things, either about how much wealth Todd Graves actually haves, or where Gary Chouest actually lives? But at the end of the day, we know they're from Louisiana originally. Which is what we are looking for, where are these people from?
