The World’s Largest Christmas Park Is In Texas

Often when one thinks of the stereotypical Christmas setting, they see snow-capped trees, icicles, fresh powdery snow, and anything else portrayed in songs like "White Christmas". But it turns out the setting for the largest Christmas park has less to do with North Pole snow, and more to do with longhorns.

Santa's Wonderland is the world's largest Christmas park, and it's located in College Station, Texas. Not in a northern climate that could naturally accumulate a white Christmas.

Deep in the holiday heart of Texas, Santa's Wonderland features millions of Christmas lights, "real" Texas snow and ice, and acres of festive attractions. The experience promises something for everyone, no matter their age. Santa's Wonderland also include shops and food as well.

This outdoor holiday experience offers tons of activities, including snow tubing. That's right, you can go sledding/tubing in the middle of Texas this holiday season. But if that's not your speed, there's also the option to enjoy hayrides, horse and carriage VIP tours, and a snowy playground. Oh yeah, a snow-covered playground where you can make snow angles, little forts, snowmen, snowballs, and just have some happy holiday memories.

Now before you grab your coat and head for the door, you should know tickets are required for Santa's Wonderland. Adult tickets at the gate at $54.95 each, and Children's tickets are $49.95. You can save a little on the base-ticket price if you buy online. There are also "Super Saver" ticket options, but they're only good for certain dates.
