Taylor Swift has postponed her second Eras Tour concert in Brazil following the death of an attendee.

The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer was scheduled to perform the second of three shows at Nilton Santos Stadium in Rio de Janeiro Saturday (Nov. 18).

"I’m writing this from my dressing room in the stadium. The decision has been made to postpone tonight’s show due to the extreme temperatures in Rio. The safety and well-being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew has to and always will come first," Swift wrote via her Instagram Story.

Shortly after, Brazilian concert promoter T4F announced the show will be rescheduled for Monday (Nov. 20).

"Due to adverse weather conditions and prioritizing public safety, today's concert, November 18, by Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour at the Nilton Santos Stadium, Engenhão has been rescheduled for Monday, November 20th. All tickets for Saturday's performance will remain valid for Monday's show. More information about tickets and policies for Monday's show will be released soon on official channels," the statement read.

Airlines GOL Linhas Aéreas and LATAM Brasil announced they will allow Eras Tour ticket holders to change their flights free of charge.

Swift announced the postponement just hours before the concert's official start time.

VIP ticket holders began entering the stadium around 3 PM, while GA [general admission] fans lined up in the early hours of the morning after officials released updates regarding safety protocols for Saturday's concert.

Firefighters reportedly doused fans with cold water while they sang "Cruel Summer" outside the concert venue.

A fan died Friday (Nov. 17) during Swift's first Eras Tour concert stop in Brazil, when a heat warning was in effect.

During the second song of the set, "Cruel Summer," 23-year-old attendee Ana Clara Benevides suffered a cardiac arrest. She later died.

Meanwhile, over 1,000 people reportedly passed out or became ill at the concert due to the extreme heat.
