Artificial Turf Placed Down in Blackham Coliseum for Arena Football

The Louisiana VooDoo is ready to call the historic Blackham Coliseum in Lafayette, Louisiana home and the turf is down in the arena.

We learned late last week that the VooDoo was moving from Lake Charles to Lafayette and now they are preparing for their first game in the Blackham on April 27th against the  Philadelphia Soul,

We've seen many events through the years in the Blackham but turf down in this arena just feels different, and I mean that in a great way.

In addition to the turf being installed inside the Blackham Coliseum, netting will be suspended from the ceiling too. This is all part of the process to have the arena in Lafayette ready and up to arena football standards.
