Luke Bryan Opening Store at Louisiana Favorite Beach Destination

Louisiana beachgoers will have one more reason to want to seek out the sun and sand of the Redneck Riviera this summer. That new reason is courtesy of country music superstar and current American Idol judge Luke Bryan. Luke's new retail adventure is set to open soon in a place where he has already experienced some major success.

Luke's new business is going in at The Wharf entertainment district in Orange Beach Alabama. Luke is no stranger to the area, he spent many a spring break there as a younger adult and as a country music superstar, he has performed numerous concerts there in front of tens of thousands of fans.

Fans of Luke Bryan's musical catalog will probably be able to detect his love of the beach, the sun, the sand, and in fact the whole spring break vibe. Bryan has created his own series of spring break-inspired concerts over the past few years. Those concerts called "Crash My Playa" are a take-off on one of Bryan's hit songs "Crash My Party" and are held annually on the Riviera Maya in Mexico's Yucatan.

Luke Bryan's New Orange Beach Business Isn't About Music

What Luke is planning to do very shortly, according to the Orange Beach Association is open a second location of his popular upscale cigar store. That store located in Watersound, Florida is called Shore Thing Cigars. According to Luke, "The beach is the perfect place to get together with friends, relax, and enjoy a drink and cigar". Luke's comments were chronicled in a story published on Al.com.

As is the case with the store in Florida, The Wharf version of Shore Thing Cigars will sell more than just smokes. The store will offer draft beer and wine by the bottle or the glass and they will host a karaoke night on Fridays.

Paul Copeland, Bryan's business partner in the cigar stores says the atmosphere will be similar to a happy hour that takes place all day every day.
