Louisiana people are always looking for an excuse to grab a drink or a meal with friends. Whether it's a mid day pick me up at a local coffee shop or a sit down dinner with friends for a birthday celebration, going out and enjoying ourselves is not something we shy away from.

It's only fitting that Thomas Farley aka 'Mister Manners' shared some valuable insight into what he calls 'Tipflation' with CNBC.

He talk about how people feel imposed on because everywhere they turn, they are being asked for a tip, even in scenarios where someone just did their job they are being paid to do.

We’re already living through inflationary times. Everything is crazy expensive. And on top of that, you’re being asked, every time you turn around, "How much would you like to tip?", it feels pushy.

He goes on to say that every customer he speaks to asks "Why don't businesses just pay their employees more?", an incredibly valid question that I am sure many of us have wondered ourselves, but we won't wait up.
