Disturbing news out of Opelousas, Louisiana as a woman has reportedly admitted to raping and abusing her children.

KLFY News 10 reports that "Keirsten White, 31, of Opelousas, is charged with first-degree rape, sexual battery, two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, and two counts of cruelty to juveniles."

Authorities in St. Landry Parish say that White turned herself in and admitted to the crimes on Sunday. Both of the children who were allegedly abused are under the age of four years old.

Detectives with the Juvenile Division interviewed the St. Landry Parish woman and through her cooperation authorities were able to determine the amount of criminal activity involved in this case, which involved juveniles.

KLFY reports that White admitted to detectives of being stressed out and frustrated while going through a divorce.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said this about the woman who turned herself in on Sunday, "We are thankful that White surrendered herself and was completely cooperative with detectives.”

According to the news report bond has not been set in this case. We will continue to follow this story and provide more details about this case as they become available.
