In a heartbreaking incident in Hammond, Louisiana, a mother of four was fatally stabbed during a date. Carol Allen, aged 31, from New Orleans, lost her life to a violent attack last Saturday afternoon, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.

The tragedy reportedly unfolded on West Pleasant Ridge Road, where deputies were called to the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Allen in the backseat of a car, suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Allen succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Christopher Jerome Wilson from Hammond, was apprehended later that day in Natchitoches. Before the arrest, Wilson contacted the local police requesting assistance for low air in his bicycle tire, leading to his capture after officers recognized he was wanted in Tangipahoa Parish for murder.

Investigations revealed that Allen and Wilson had been communicating throughout the day and had arranged to meet in Hammond for their date. It was during their encounter that Wilson reportedly attacked Allen in an attempt to steal her car, stabbing her multiple times before fleeing the scene on foot.

Wilson now faces charges of first-degree murder and armed robbery with a knife. His criminal history includes a previous charge of domestic abuse battery.
