BEWARE: Infectious Viral Disease Declared Global Health Emergency, Could Lead to a SECOND Pandemic, Including in Texas
I’m not exactly sure what Texas would do if the state had to shut down for another pandemic. According to APN news, unfortunately, this might be the case. Recently, the World Health Organization declared an outbreak of monkeypox in the Congo and elsewhere on the continent of Africa. Has a global emergency requiring action to curb the virus transmission.
DOES TEXAS NEED TO PREPARE FOR ANOTHER PANDEMIC?
The country Sweden also announced it had found its first case of a new form of Mpox previously seen in a traveler that was only in Africa. Monkeypox is an infectious, viral disease that can be transferred from humans or other animals. Usually, the symptoms of monkeypox are blisters and rashes that crust over the body, swollen lymphoids, and even high fevers. If you happen to have monkeypox at its most mild state it can still take an individual to recover from it.
WHY DOES TEXAS NEED TO BE PREPARE?
Unlike COVID-19 monkeypox is not airborne so it wouldn’t move as rapidly as the coronavirus but Texans need to keep in mind that mpox can still be transported from skin to skin. In 2022 there were nearly 100,000 infections globally from monkeypox with almost 200 deaths because of the virus. Now I know Texans are probably thinking if the monkeypox virus is on another continent what does that have to do with the great state? Keep in mind the very aggressive coronavirus didn’t start in Texas which means we need to be cautious of all parts of the world to avoid the virus going globally. The 6ft rule should still apply to all individuals not only in Texas, especially now because the possible pandemic trigger could be possible!
