VIDEO: Austin, Texas Train Crash Came Very Close To An Apartment Complex
The train derailment in Austin, Texas had many effects around the area. One resident in the city showed how close the train came to affecting their living quarters. Here's the details at the time of writing.
Details Of The Train Crash In Austin
Per KXAN, the crash happened early Tuesday morning on October 22nd, 2024:
Not only did 7 cars unfortunately leave the track, certain residents lost power due to the incident. Thankfully though, power was restored to the area later in the morning, and no injuries were reported. However, the crash resulted in the train striking an utility pole, and came very close to apartments in Austin.
In addition, the University of Texas Elementary Charter School was closed down for the day, which was the result of previously mentioned power outage.
One video showed how one resident was closer to the crash than one person would like to be.

The user revealed in the description of the video they were not informed about the trains that passed by overnight. One in the comments of the video revealed they were moving to the same complex soon and requesting information, while others urged the user to move out of the living place to avoid a future situation such as this.
