Know Why Walmart Workers In Texas Have Different Colored Badges?
Walmart is everywhere, not just Texas, but they keep their policies pretty standard at all of their locations in and out of Texas.
Walmart is a huge corporation with many subtle, some kind of sneaky, ways of giving up information.
Most of these things don't really concern shoppers all that much but there are one or two that you should probably be aware of.
The color codes for example can be very important to you. They use colors, letters, words and numbers so employees can commute without the entire store knowing what they're doing.
Say they need to move a large amount of cash around, they're not going to say that out loud, they're going to use a code word. When it comes to the color codes, pray you never hear "code brown". If you do, LEAVE!
A new, (not so), secret thing has to do with Walmart employee badges. Take this with a grain of salt though because it seems there are two answers to this question.
What Do The Different Walmart Badge Colors Mean?
It's not exactly a top secret, life or death, "for their eyes only" kind of thing but it could be important. (Especially if you're the flirty type.) The badges are age defining, according to a Walmart employee who goes by @candy.cream4 on TikTok.
Yellow badges indicate that the employee is a minor, under the age of 18 .
“So, for all you people who want to be giving people a hard time or flirting with them, just remember though that you’re flirting with a minor,” she adds. “This color is minor.” Afterward, she goes back to the blue badge. “This color is an adult.” - dailydot.com
Blue means you're dealing with an adult. You can flirt there all you want just remember, no means no. Walmart confirmed the age thing on Facebook in 2021.
