One week prior to the release of his album DiCaprio 2, J.I.D shares a creative vision for the LP with his fans. Today (Nov. 19), the "151 Rum" artist releases a trailer that channels critically Leonardo DiCaprio films like The Revenant, The Wolf of Wall Street, Inception and more. If you in the extremely slight chance you didn't know, DiCaprio is the namesake of J.I.D's forthcoming new album and it's mixtape predecessor, DiCaprio.

In the one-minute video, J.I.D takes on his inner Leonardo DiCaprio. Beginning the trailer by reenacting Leo's role in his 2010 film Inception, the MC plunges backward into a tub of water while sitting on a chair. In another clip, we see J.I.D taking on DiCaprio's leading role in The Revenant as he rocks a pelt and brandishes a rifle during his hunt for revenge. The next big movie reference calls to mind a scene from The Wolf of Wall Street.

DiCaprio 2 serves as the follow-up to the Atlanta rapper's 2017 The Never Story. The 14-track album features guest appearances from A$AP Ferg, J. Cole, 6lack, BJ The Chicago Kid and more. Cole, who is featured on "Off Deez," also has production on his Dreamville Records signee's latest LP, which is laced with beats from Christo, Kenny Beats and the late Mac Miller.
